Recreation/Respite

LisaAllegany Arc provides planned out-of-home and in-home respite to adults and children with special needs who reside at home with their families. Respite Services provide a wide variety of leisure and learning activities while family members who care for a person with disabilities at home can take a break. Families use respite services for a number of reasons, including running errands, spending time with their other children, going out of town, personal appointments or simply taking an occasional and much-needed break.
