Your Gift Changes Lives
Donations to The Arc Allegany-Steuben are used to improve the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In the past donations have been used for:
- Training equipment that will help people we support transition into community-based employment
- Medical needs, such as a therapeutic weighted blanket
- Defibrillators for our community homes
- Autism training for staff and community members
Over the years the program has helped people receive medical equipment, not funded by insurance, and have once in a lifetime experiences which include:
- Custom Tandem Bicycles
- Adult Strollers
- Ipad and APP for Communication
- Concerts
- WWE Wrestling Events
- Yankee Baseball Game
- Nascar Races
